Drivers Abstracts
A driver's record, also called an abstract, is a government-issued document with information about a driver and their driver's license. When a trucking company is hiring new drivers, that require commercial drivers for the use of a commercial vehicle, requesting driving record abstracts can help an employer see the driving behavior of candidates and whether they are a safe and responsible driver.
The 3-year driver's record is usually the document most employers are looking for.
Police Clearance Certificate (PCC)
When you are looking for information about a person's conviction related to criminal charges in Canada or USA, a PCC certificate is required. It is usually requested by the employers at the time of hiring.
Pre Employment Screening Program (PSP)
The Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP) provides carriers, individual drivers, and industry service providers access to commercial drivers' safety records from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's (FMCSA) Motor Carrier Management Information System (MCMIS). You will find information about inspections, convictions, violations, and crashes in the United States.
Drivers Fast Card
The FAST card certifies the bearer as a truck driver has been pre-cleared to cross the US-Canada border. The FAST card allows the driver to get through customs at the border much faster and use special FAST lanes at the busiest border crossings using special customs kiosks and special lanes at Canada-US border crossings.
Drivers Abstract - ON
Driver Abstract (ON) has all the information about convictions and demerit points for cars and commercial vehicles. A driver's record, also called an abstract, is a government-issued document with information about a driver and their driver's license.
CVOR Abstract - ON
This is mostly for commercial vehicle drivers. When you are applying for a new job, the employer will require a Drivers' CVOR abstract which consists the information about commercial inspections, convictions, violations, and crashes while driving a commercial motor vehicle.
Commercial Abstract - AB
You will find all the required information on accidents, convictions, inspections, and violations of cars and commercial vehicles. This abstract is issued by Transportation Alberta and required when the driver is a resident of province of Alberta.
Drivers Abstract - NS
You will find all the required information on accidents, convictions, inspections, and violations of cars and commercial vehicles. This abstract is issued by Service Nova Scotia and required when the driver is a resident of province of Nova Scotia.
